"Searching for Friendships, Relationships and Companionships for people with disabilities in Australia.

The Cliq Connection’s purpose is to be an accessible, fun and safe interactive app for NDIS participants to make & maintain meaningful and healthy social connections. Through The Cliq Connections sister company, First Step Solutions, and The Date-Ability Project, we have had the pleasure of educating and getting to know a variety of people within the community on a deeper level.
NDIS Participants have shared with us their experiences in the dating world, both online & in real life; all involve scenarios of being scammed financially or harassment.
We have talked in depth about the feelings that are experienced when meeting new people, the anxiety, the frustration and lack of safe and comfortable opportunities.
It was clear the community needed an outlet to learn about healthy & safe social connections, and The Date-Ability program addresses that need.
To bridge the gap between being education of social connections and opportunities of social connections, The Cliq Connection was developed.

The Cliq Connection- Exclusively availiable to Australian NDIS participants, the app has user safety & privacy as the highest priority and the key element in what makes the app in a league of its own.
The Cliq Connection exhibits the following features
-All data stored in Australia.
-Australian based support team working behind the online chat & phone.
-All users must be who they say they are and pass the identity check process. This feature minimises the access of scam and spam accounts.

Users will set up their profiles to include their photo, preferences, interests, and accessibility requirements- another important feature highlighted within the app.

From there, users will potentially match with others who are searching for the same type of connection, either “Friendship” or “dating”.
Once a match occurs, a conversation should soon follow.

Another crucial ”First of its kind” feature, The Cliq Connection team will be notified of trigger words and phrases (Which are updated frequently) the team will use that moment to educate the person who set off the trigger, around intentions, appropriate social behaviour and boundaries.
The Cliq team will also check in to see if the person on the receiving end of those comments, are okay.

The Cliq Connections key message overall is simple- when users are connecting on the app, BE KIND.

The Cliq Connection is able to be funded by NDIS plans or independently on a 6-month of 12-month basis.
*Payment will be invoiced to your plan manager or nominee, where payment is required within 1 week.
*Users will have -free- access to the app during that first week period. Further access will be put on hold after the first 7 days until payment is received.
*Your subscription will renew unless cancellation of subscription is received in writing.
